Scholarship Benefits

For Norwegian and International Residents (Living in Norway):

  • Full tuition coverage for up to two years.

  • Scholarship renewal is contingent upon maintaining satisfactory academic progress.

For Sivøk Applicants (Siviløkonom Program Students):

  • Full tuition coverage for up to two years.

  • Renewal is based on meeting academic progression standards.

For International Students:

  • Full tuition coverage for up to two years.

  • A living stipend of NOK 50,000 per semester to help cover expenses.

  • Scholarship renewal is subject to academic performance.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the BI Presidential Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Excellence: Achieve a minimum overall ‘A’ grade on the ECTS scale or an equivalent international grading scale.

  • Residency Status: Open to both Norwegian and international students.

  • Norwegian Degree Holders: International candidates who completed a bachelor’s degree in Norway will be considered as Norwegian residents for scholarship purposes.

  • Program Enrollment: Applicants must be admitted to the first year of an MSc degree at BI’s Oslo or Bergen campuses.

  • Sivøk Students: Applicants must be in their third year of the Sivøkonom program.
